Sanaa Opening Date

Animal Kingdom Villas’ new restaurant is due to open May 1, 2009. DVC members can start making ADRs February 16, and non-DVC members can make reservations from February 23.

New Disney Dollars

The 2009 Disney Dollar series will be available in $1, $5, and $10 denominations. This year’s series is themed to “What Will you Celebrate?”
Disney Dollars can be purchased in the Walt Disney World Resort and selected locations at Disneyland Resort

Bye Bye Wonders of Life Pavilion

The Wonders of Life Pavilion attractions are officially no more. The interior structures and attractions in the pavilion are being demolished and in future the pavilion will be used for special events such as the Flower & Garden Festival.

Boatwright’s News

Boatwright’s at Port Orleans Riverside will reportedly no longer served breakfast as of February 21, 2009.

Magic Kingdom Parade Change

The Disney Dreams Come True Parade at Magic Kingdom is now called Celebrate a Dream Come True. It features the same floats with a few cosmetic changes, along with new music, plus new dancers.

Magical Fireworks Voyage Delayed

The Magical Fireworks Voyage, previously only available to Grand Gatherings guests, was supposed to be available to everyone from March 1, 2009. This has now been delayed until July 13, and won’t be available to book until summer.
