1. Free or heavily discounted park tickets

Many timeshare companies advertise free or heavily discounted theme park tickets for Walt Disney World or Disneyland. But there’s a catch. To get your free tickets you must attend a timeshare presentation which can last around 90 minutes – 2 hours. Far from being relaxed affairs, these presentations often lay on the pressure to buy into a timeshare and can be quite intimidating to many. If you think you can stand the heavy sales pitch and pressure, take a few moments to read the small print. Conditions are usually quite specific, and to qualify for the offer a minimum income is usually required, along with showing a major credit card before the presentation begins, and other strict terms. Some “free” offers also require you to book a package stay at one of their hotels to qualify for the tickets.

1. Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen after his death, in the hope that one day medical technology would allow him to be brought back to life.
False – Walt died on December 15, 1966 and is thought to have been cremated the day after. It’s unknown who started this particular rumor of his body being frozen, or when it started. The fact that Walt was so interested in new technology and that details surrounding his funeral and burial weren’t made public only served to fuel this untrue rumor.

Parents shouldn’t be put off from taking their infant or toddler on a visit to Disneyland Resort Paris. Kids are never too young to enjoy the experience, and although they won’t remember it, you’ll have lots of precious memories and photos to share with them once they’re older. The Resort is also very geared up for visits from the youngest of Disney fans.

Frontierland at DLRPAs I noted in my last “Comparing WDW and DLRP” article, a major difference between the two parks is the location of Frontierland. With Frontierland on the top left of Magic Kingdom Park as you look at the map, but at the bottom left at Disneyland Park in Paris.
