New Pinocchio meet and greet

A new Pinocchio meet and greet  - Pinocchio’s Marionette Garden Party - is now open next to City Hall, in Town Square, Magic Kingdom.

Magical Express Changes

Beginning March 30, 2009, direct luggage service will not be available for guests arriving at Orlando International Airport between 10pm-5am. Guests arriving during these times will need to pick up their own luggage as normal and take it to the Magical Express Welcome Center where you can get the bus with your luggage.

Boatwright’s

Breakfast will no longer be available at Port Orleans Riverside Resort’s Boatwright’s restaurant starting February 22, 2009.

Celebrate Carnevale di Venezia!

Carnevale di Venezia is February 23 to March 4 at Tutto Italia Ristorante at Epcot.
A special lunch and dinner menu will be available to guests featuring scrumptious Italian cuisine. During the celebration, guests can choose one of two pre-selected  appetizers, entrees and desserts. Lunch is served daily from 11:30am to 3:30pm, with dinner from 4:30pm to 8:45pm. A special performance by “Viva Venezia” will occur each evening during dinner inside the restaurant - see weekly Times Guide for show times.

Pin Trading Event 2009

Disney Pin Traders from around the world are cordially invited to celebrate the “10,000″ year history of Disney Pin Trading during Disney Pin Celebration 2009 - The Museum of Pin-tiquities. This three-day, grand opening gala will be held from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, 2009 in World ShowPlace at Epcot®.
REGISTRATION OPENS FEB. 25, 2009 (2:00 p.m. Eastern). Event admission is $115 per Guest.

No more Tarzan Show

The popular Tarzan Encounter show has been cancelled for 2009. The show, which played at Frontierland’s Chaparral Theater will not be returning this year.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boutique

Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boutique is set to open mid-April 2009 in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. Young girls can be turned into Disney Princesses with the help of the Fairy Godmothers-in-training, from hair and make-up to princess gowns and accessories. It will be located in what was the Once Upon A Time. . . A Disney Princess Shop.

Lego and Disney

Lego are to make building blocksbased on Disney and Pixar properties it was announced on Tuesday. The multiyear deal between Disney and Lego begins with the release in 2010 of toys based on “Toy Story,” “Cars” and “Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.”
