Fantasyland Expansion?

A very interesting article on The Disney Blog talks about leaked expansion plans for Fantasyland. The expansion would see most of Toontown Fair replaced, and would include an expanded Pixie Hollow along with new meet & greet areas for Cinderella and the other princesses. A new “Be Our Guest” restaurant, plus increasing the capacity on a relocated Dumbo ride are also on the cards. Read more & see the blueprint here.

Bus Crash

Less than two weeks after the fatal monorail crash at WDW comes another accident involving Disney trasportation. Thankfully this time there were no serious injuries or fatalities. The accident involving two Disney buses occured yesterday afternoon outside the Contemporary Resort. 12 guests suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals.

Imagineer receives honor

Imagineer Marty Sklar today became the latest Disney Legend to receive the honor of having a window dedication on Main Street, U.S.A. Today is Marty’s last day with the Disney Company, after working for them for 54 years.
