Parking news
Following last week’s parking price increase, Resort valet parking has also increased in price to $12 per day. DVC members won’t be pleased to here that their free valet parking perk is no more.
Raytheon’s Sum of all Thrills
The new simulator ride is set to open at Epcot’s Innoventions tomorrow. Similar to DisneyQuest’s CyberSpace Mountain, it wiil enable guests to design their own thrill ride, which they can test out in the simulator. The attraction is tied in with the company’s MathMovesU program, and if the computer works out that the ride you have designed doesn’t conform to the laws of physics, it will ask you to redesign until it does.

Toy Story news
ToyStory 3 director Lee Unkrich has announced a new, as yet unnamed, character in the upcoming movie, who will be voiced by Kristen Schaal. He also confirmed that Slinky will be voiced by Blake Clark, who is taking over the role from the recently deceased Jim Varney. View the video announcement here.

The previously limited release of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 double feature in 3D has now been extended beyond the original end date, although no new end date has been confirmed.

Revamped Disney Stores on the way
Plans to revamp Disney Stores in the US and Europe are under way. The plans include rebranding the Stores as “Imagination Park,” high-tech entertainment hubs, where they hope children will pester their parents to be taken. The new stores won’t just sell merchandise, they will offer kids interactive experiences including karaoke sessions, chances to chat live with Disney Channel stars via satellite, “Magic Mirrors,” and the chance to watch film clips they select themselves.Disney plan to unveil the first new stores in May next year, with plans to also open a flagship store in Times Square, New York.
