Liberty Tree Tavern Characters Return
The characters are returning to Liberty Tree Tavern, but only during the Crystal Palace rehab. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy all-you-care-to-eat meals served family-style. The Crystal Palace rehab is from January 3 - February 14, 2010.
PhotoPass
Guests can no longer pre-order the PhotoPass CD, unless they receive an email invite. You used to be able to pre-order online, saving a few $$ in the process but Disney have now removed that option, and only those who receive a special email inviting them to do so will be able to pre-order.
$1 Coin Trial
Walt Disney World are currently working with the U.S. Mint to pilot $1 coin. The 2009 Native American dollar coins will be available at select locations at the Resort through December 13, 2009. More details and a list of locations here.
DISNEYLAND PARIS
Contactless Payments
A contactless payment system is currently being trialed in several shops and restaurants throughout Disneyland Paris. But not everyone will be able to try it. Only Annual Passport holders, who are also customers of French banks CIC or Crédit Mutuel will be able to take part in the trial. Those lucky folks who can take part will receive a discount of 20% in the restaurants and 25% in the shops.
