Space Mountain Updates
The renovation of Space Mountain is nearing its end and details are starting to emerge about the changes made over the last few months. Among the changes:
- New lighting, along with special “darkening” effects
- Rocket capsules have updated color schemes
- The attraction has got new carpets, paint and seat fabrics
- Interactive queue area where passengers can take part in multiplayer games
The actual track remains the same, so Space Mountain fans won’t be disappointed when the attraction reopens on November 22nd.
Holiday Changes
A new gospel choir, “D’Vine Voices, debuts at this year’s Holidays Around the World at Epcot, Nov. 27 through Dec. 26.
The Lights of Winter at Epcot are being retired as of this year due to the tech needed to operate the lights being obsolete.
Hand Sanitizers
Hand sanitizers are being installed around the parks in response to swine fl, and guests are being urged to follow public health guidelines which are now printed in teh Times Guides.
