Summer Fireworks Show

The fireworks show replacing Wishes for the Summer Nightastic season has finally been given a name. The “Summer Nightastic Fireworks Spectacular” is essentially the same as the “Magic, Music and Mayhem” fireworks show that was developed for Disney’s Pirate and Princess Party, but with a new introductory dialog. continue reading…

Cafe Mickey is located in Disney Village, next to the Hotel New York. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with characters present at each. Breakfast is a buffet just for guests staying at the Disney hotels and partner hotels, while lunch and dinner are a la carte and open to anyone. You can view the menu here. Although walk-ins are usually available, it’s advisable to book as it is a very popular restaurant and those without reservations could be in for a long wait!

The first time I visited Walt Disney World  and saw the Wedding Pavilion I said that’s where I was going to get married. Never in a million years did I dream it would one day be a reality. But it happened. I got married at Disney’s Fairytale Wedding Pavilion, and it was a true fairytale wedding and dream come true!

Easter Events at WDW

Mr & Mrs Bunny will be doing meet & greets on Easter Sunday at Magic Kingdom’s Tour Guide Gardens. They will also appear in the pre-parade that day at 2:50pm.

Kid’s Easter egg hunts will be held in the Heritage Garden at Epcot’s American Adventure pavilion on Easter Sunday. The hunts will take place every 30 minutes from 11:40 am to 5:40 pm, and are for kids aged 3 – 9. continue reading…

Summer Nightastic Events

New events have been added to the Summer Nightastic line-up. A nightly street party will be held in the Magic Kingdom, and a Rock ‘n’ Glow Dance Party will be held in the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard at the Studios. Summer Nightastic runs from June 6 through August 14. continue reading…

On a recent trip to Disneyland Paris, we decided to try Walt’s – an American Restaurant. We were taking advantage of the free dining plan, Walt’s was one of the few sit-down restaurants in the park, and appears to be the only one to get consistently good reviews. continue reading…
