Via Napoli Reservations

Guests can make ADRs for the new Via Napoli Restaurant at Epcot’s Italy pavilion beginning August 6 for the official opening day on September 10. The restaurant will have a soft opening period from it’s Grand Opening celebration on August 5, through September 9, when it will be open for walk-ins only. Check out the pre-opening menu here.

Swan & Dolphin Personal Pantry Service

The WDW Swan & Dolphin Resorts are now offering a new Personal Pantry service to guests staying there. Replacing the in-room mini bar it offers guests the chance to customize their in-room refrigerator with their favorite snacks and beverages. There’s no delivery charge or service charge, and snacks & beverages are more affordable than the usual mini-bar prices. Guests have the option of pre-ordering prior to arrival using an online form, or filling in a form when they arrive. The items are then delivered to the room. Example prices (subject to change) are candy bars for $1.25 each, juices at $2.00 each, Budweiser 6 for $6.00, cereals at $1.50 each (all exclusive of sales tax).

Food & Wine Festival

Just a reminder that the reservations for special events at this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival opened this morning. Call 407-WDW-Fest (939-3378) to book if you wish to attend any of the special events or signature events.

The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon & Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Relay are now at capacity.

The dates for next year’s Festival have been announced:  September 30 – November 14, 2011.

Kona Island

The Kona Island Sushi Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is officialy permanent. The bar serves coffee, tea, pastries and fruit in the morning, and at 5pm changes to a sushi bar.

A third World of Color show will be presented nightly through September 6.

Disney have just launched a new Disney Vacation Connection desktop widget that can be downloaded for free. The application features news, videos, weather, park hours, events, vacation planning tips and a Disney vacation countdown clock. Content covers Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disney Vacation Club, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii.
