Apart from collecting candy and enjoying the Boo to You Parade and HalloWishes, one of the highlights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the variety of characters doing meet and greets, especially rare ones that aren’t normally found in the parks.

Here’s our guide to who is where and when you should get in line to meet them.

The most popular meet and greet this year seems to be the 7 Dwarfs. You can find them at the old Skyway station in Fantasyland, next to it’s a small world. The meet and greet only begins at 7pm when the Party starts, but people have been getting in line as early as 6pm. During the actual party lines are very, very long. Aside from Dopey who makes occasional appearances at Epcot, this is the only place you will get to see any of the dwarfs, let alone all 7 of them together, hence its popularity. Photopass is available here.

You can meet Mickey and Minnie dressed up in their finest Halloween costumes at the Judge’s Tent in Toontown Fair. Popular as ever, you can expect to wait around 15-30 minutes during the party. Photopass is available here.

Another rare opportunity is that of meeting the Princesses along with their respective Princes. Cinderella, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Snow White are holding court with their beaus in the Princess Room at the Toontown Hall of Fame. Again, waits can be around 15-30 minutes, but one line will get you to see all three pairs. Photopass available.

Next door at Pixie Hollow are Tinker Bell and her fairy friends, where waits are a bit longer as Tink & pals are relatively new characters to meet & greet. You may have to wait around 30 minutes unless you get there early enough.

Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen appear at set times in Liberty Square. This popular couple have a 15-30 minute wait time.

Donald and Daisy are in their Halloween outfits at the entrance to Toontown Fair, but are fairly popular with waits around 15-30 minutes. Photopass available.

You can meet Alice and the Mad Hatter on the way into the Alice & Mad Hatter Treat Trail which starts in Toontown Fair. Waits tend to average 15 minutes.

Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore & Piglet appear at certain times in Town Square, dressed in very cute Halloween costumes. Get in line before they’re due to appear to reduce your likelihood of having to wait up to 30 minutes. Photopass available.

Dr. Facilier, Jafar, Captain Hook, Cruella de Vil, Snow Queen, and Maleficent, all appear after Villain’s Mix and Mingle show. As Dr Facilier (from Princess & the Frog) is new this year, he is the most popular of the villains. However lines shouldn’t get too long, but if you get in line for the Dr during the show, you can watch the show and be one of the first to meet him before moving onto the others.

Stop by Snow White’s Scary Adventures at select times if you want to meet the Old Hag from Snow White. Wait times are quite short to non-existent.

Find Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland, with waits of around 15 minutes.

Woody, Jessie and Bullseye can be found dancing at the character dance party at the Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square. As this is a dance party rather than a meet and greet you might not be able to get a posed picture taken with them.

Stop by Stitch’s Club 626 Dance Party in Tomorrowland to see Stitch, although again, it’s a dance party rather than meet and greet, so no posed photos.

On your way into Adventureland on the Veranda porch you might come across Jack Sparrow, Tarzan, or Jane and Terk, who all appear at different times. Lines are usually short and you shouldn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes.

Inside the Adventureland Veranda at different times are Aladdin & Abu, Jasmine & Genie, Timon & Rafiki, Baloo and King Louie. Another location with very short wait times. Photopass available.

Captain Hook & Mr Smee make appearances outside Pirates of the Caribbean at selected times during the night. Short wait times.

The Queen of Hearts can be found at certain times outside the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party ride in Fantasyland. Short wait times.

Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizzella are near the Castle in Fantasyland at set times during the evening. Waits are generally short at 5-10 minutes.

A non-character photo opportunity, but an extremely popular one is Cinderella’s glass coach, surrounded by pumpkins, in Fantasyland. This isn’t the coach that’s currently used for Disney weddings, but an earlier model. Waits can be 15-30 minutes.

From a previous year's party

Character greetings in general officially run through 11:30pm, but some characters only do set times during the evening, so check in the park when you arrive. The earlier you get in line to see the characters you want to meet, the less time you’re likely to have to wait. Alternatively, for characters who appear through to the end of the party, wait until the last half hour or so, when lines should be much shorter if there at all.
