Tangled Characters

Rapunzel and Flynn from Disney’s upcoming movie Tangled are now making character meet and greet appearances at the Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom. This is located near Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, as you walk from the hub around the side of the Castle to Fantasyland. Wait times are long, with appearances usually beginning at 10am each day. Only 40 people get to see the characters for each appearance. After 40 they cut the line off and you need to wait for the next appearance (usually on the hour).

New Name

According to new park maps, Mrs Potts’ Cupboard quick service location in Fantasyland is being renamed Storybook Treats.

Gingerbread House

The wonderful gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort will open to guests next Monday, November 15.

New Meet and Greet

Guests will get a sneak preview of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Disney’s upcoming film Tangled, as they make their appearance at Disneyland Paris. The Princess named after a magical flower and the most wanted–and most charming– bandit will greet guests several times a day at Royal Castle Stage for a unique and enchanting encounter with Rapunzel steeped in the Christmas spirit. They will appear daily at the Royal Castle Stage in Fantasyland, Disneyland Park.

The Disneyland Paris application for iPhone

Disneyland Paris is launching an unprecedented iPhone application, a first for Disney Theme Parks. Designed as a truly interactive guide, it will help the many visitors to Europe’s leading tourist destination enjoy greater comfort when preparing their visit, and when experiencing it too.

Available free of charge* on all iPhone models, the Disneyland Paris iPhone application provides a host of ways for guests to customise their visit, optimising the time spent at the destination. Interactivity and real-time information take centre stage to ensure a successful stay.

New Show Times

The dinner seating times for the Disney Dream remain the same as on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. However, the evening show times have changed. There will be three shows each evening, at 5pm, 7pm and 9pm. Just as cruisers are assigned a set dining time, they will also be assigned a show time. For example, if your dinner seating is at 6pm, your assigned  show time could be either 5pm or 9pm.

Disney Dream Leaves Shipyard

The Disney Dream has just left the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. It’s destination is Eemshaven, Netherlands via the Ems River. Watch the video here.
