Kouzzina Changes

Kouzzina by Cat Cora, at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort has re-opened after a brief refurbishment. Changes include new exterior signage and Cat stories in the lobby via three video monitors with images and text that flow from one to the next showcasing the celeb chef’s views on food, family and her culinary journey. The dining room has got new artwork, marble finishes and soft drapes. Featured in the main dining room is a beautiful olive oil display, and all diners can enjoy a new “olive oil tasting experience,” which includes two varieties of Greek olive oils to taste and compare, plus kalamata olives, offered with bread service. A new Coronation Room is to be the home of a future Chef’s Table prix fixe dining experience on weekends.

New menu items include: steamed mussels with ouzo, shallots, herbs and butter; vegetarian white bean and escarole soup; a new house salad with greens, pickled beets, pomegranate vinaigrette and spiced cashews; oak-fired pork tenderloin with zucchini corn pie; fresh saffron pasta with lamb ragù with a port reduction; and Greek coffee crème brûlée with white chocolate-dipped biscotti.

Fantasy Maiden Voyage Change

The date of the new Disney Fantasy’s maiden voyage has changed from April 7, 2012, to March 31, 2012.

As previously released, the ship will sail a 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary visiting Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Costa Maya.

If you’ve booked on the April 7 voyage, you’ll be contacted and offered first chance to re-book on the new March 31 maiden voyage, in the same stateroom category and at the same rate as currently booked. You may also select to keep the original sail date or cancel the booking with no cancellation fees.

The March 31 and April 7 sailing of the Disney Fantasy will not be available for new reservations until all Guests with existing reservations have been contacted.

Due to the early arrival of the Disney Fantasy, the March 24 voyage of the Disney Magic® will change from a 7-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary to a 6-night Western Caribbean itinerary, featuring stops in Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Disney’s Castaway Cay, our private island paradise.
