New PhotoPass Photos

Disney have just started adding character stock photos to online PhotoPass accounts. If you have photos taken with a character by a Disney PhotoPass photographer at select locations at Disney World and Disneyland, the stock photos will be added to your online account. The photos will also be added as high-res images when you purchase the PhotoPass CD. You can use the images of the characters in any of Disney’s PhotoPass products (Photo Book, calendars, etc) or print them off at home.

New Cruise Discounts

Disney Cruise Line are to come in line with the rest of the cruise industry later this month when they begin to offer select discounts on cruises that aren’t full near to the sail date. The discounts will be made available close to the sailing date, at the discretion of Disney Cruise Line for cruises that haven’t sold well. The staterooms will show as new categories when you search for a quote online, usually within 75 days of the cruise date, and come with heavy restrictions.
Restrictions include:
Guests won’t be able to choose a specific stateroom number or location. Staterooms will be assigned by DCL within the category you have booked (Inside, Outside or Verandah).
Full payment due at time of booking (non-refundable).
Names and birthdates for all stateroom guests must be provided at time of booking.
Maximum occupancy for the Verandah category is four guests.
Applies to new bookings only.

New Dream Photos

As the Disney Dream’s maiden voyage gets ever nearer, Disney Cruise Line have released new photos from the magnificent ship.

FORUMS

We’re excited to announce that we’re re-opening our Disney forums, after they’ve been closed to public posting for a couple of years. Although there are lots of Disney forums around, they are mostly dedicated to one Disney Theme Park or area. Just as MagicalKingdoms.com covers the full spectrum of Disney, from theme parks to weddings to animation, so will our forums. We hope they will be a family-friendly place where fellow Disney fans can come to share news, plan their trip, get advice and make new friends. We’re still getting things just right and ironing out any problems, so we’re in a soft-opening phase before we launch properly next week.
