Review of The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining

Review of The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining

I’m sure that many of you reading this will have heard of the Disney Food Blog, a wonderful blog dedicated to Disney dining. AJ Wolfe, who runs that site, recently published an e-book, which she promotes as being “an organized manual that covers everything you need to know about planning your dining and maximizing your dining experience when visiting Walt Disney World.”

After having the chance to get my hands on a copy, virtually speaking, I can highly recommend The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining.

Produced in a compact-sized .pdf file it’s perfect for downloading onto your iPad or Smartphone and taking with you to the parks. The 250 pages cover pretty much everything you need to know about dining at Walt Disney World, and even those who have made multiple trips may learn something new by reading this book.

The DFB Guide is not only incredibly informative, but also beautifully laid out with mouth-watering color photographs throughout. Being an e-Book it’s updated regularly and won’t date like print books do, something that’s very important in the ever-changing world of Disney dining.

After the introductions, the book begins with the 5-step guide to stress-free dining planning. This covers everything you need to know to help plan your dining experiences at WDW, and includes links to further information on each subject further on in the book.

A selection of worksheets are provided, via a link, to help with your dining planning. These include the Budget, Brainstorming, Booking, and Calendar worksheets.

Detailed sections throughout the book cover subjects such as the Disney Dining Plan, ways to save money on dining, refillable mugs, special events, dining with kids, special diets and much, much more. There’s even a chapter entitled “How to Find Good Coffee and Tea in Walt Disney World!”

Anyone still not sure of where to dine after reading the book can check out the sample dining itineraries for some ideas.

A fun additon at the end of the book are the “Top 5 Lists,” covering everything from the top 5 places to eat in each park, to the “Top 5 Pool Bars in Walt Disney World.”

The only thing lacking from this e-book is a link to our site, but maybe that’ll come in time! 😉

If you are planning at trip to Walt Disney World, whether it’s your 1st or 40th, The DFB Guide to Dining at Walt Disney World should be at the top of your must-read list!

The e-book currently retails at $18.95, but you can save 20% by using code MagKin at the checkout. You’ll be able to download the book immediately, and there’s even a 30-day money-back guarantee should you not be happy with your purchase for any reason.

Share the Disney fun!
