This was our first visit to Olivia’s, which is located at Old Key West Resort. Although I’d made an Advanced Dining Reservation for 5:30pm, we probably needn’t have as this is one of those places that doesn’t get too busy. That said, if you’re visiting at peak times it might be worth making an ADR just to be safe.

We arrived shortly before 5:30pm and were soon seated. As it was Halloween-time there were lots of pumpkins around.

As soon as you enter you notice the walls are covered with family photos of Disney Vacation Club Members (Old Key West was the first DVC Resort).

Inside the restaurant proper, the walls are covered with artefacts and memorabilia with a Key West theme.

Our server soon brought us some bread which was nice and fresh.

DH ordered-

Mahi Mahi $21.99
Coconut-encrusted Mahi Mahi, Spiced Citrus Glaze, mashed boniato, Frisée, and Roasted Garlic Nage

He said it was delicious and really enjoyed it.

I had-

Marinated Chicken Breast $17.99
with a mango glaze served with warm potato salad

But requested fries instead of potato salad. The food arrived nice and hot, and the chicken was perfectly cooked, a good sized portion, with the mango sauce adding a lovely flavor to it.

DD (3) had -

Pasta with Meat Sauce & Garden Salad

We asked for the meat sauce separate to the pasta as we weren’t sure if she would like it. Again, it was a very generous sized portion, especially for a kid’s meal.

Being key lime pie fans, we both had to try the-

Key Lime Tart $5.49
with Mango and Raspberry Sauce

The key lime filling was just right, with lots of light meringue on top. My only complaint would be that there was too much crust, which was also too thick.

DD enjoyed the kid’s ice cream sundae.

We couldn’t fault the service, the Cast Members were very friendly, and the food was great!
