Art Auctions Onboard Disney Cruise Line
|
Art auctions are held onboard the Disney Cruise Line ships and are run by Park West Gallery. Check out the voyage Personal Navigators for the art auction schedules once you board.
Different art is shown at each auction, which take place in the lobby atrium. Artworks are usually on display in the deck 4 art gallery, which is open every evening, with events held some evenings.
Guests can attend a preview, which begins 45 minutes before the auction starts. It's when guests select which works of art get shown in the auction, register for a free bid card, and get entered into the fine art raffle. You can also find out the opening bid price of any work you are interested in.
All artwork is original, no posters, copies or reproductions are sold. There are unique paintings, limited edition etchings, lithographs, serigraphs, giclees and watercolors.
You can pay for the artwork in one of three different ways:
1. Your Key to the World card
2. A separate credit card registered with Guest Services
3. The Park West Collector's Card (for US citizens only. 12 months interest free credit, no set payments, no annual fees. Subject to approval)
Art purchased at the auction will be shipped (& insured) to any country. Shipping is included in the hammer price.
All artwork sold includes new framing, matting and glass in the displayed style. Raffle works come unframed, with the option of framing for an extra fee.
