Essential Information

Phone Calls

There is a phone in each stateroom, however, hefty ship-to-shore rates apply, at around $6.95 per minute. Toll free calls cannot be placed from the ship, and calling cards can't be used either.

While onboard the ship, guests can be contacted by calling 1-888-DC-AT-SEA (322-8732). Callers will be required to give details of a major credit card, and charged $6.95 per minute. Calls will be transferred to your stateroom and messages can be recorded via voicemail.

Cell phones can be used onboard when there is a signal passing mainland, or in port. There is no cell phone coverage on Castaway Cay.

Smoking Policy

All staterooms aboard the ship are non-smoking, although smoking is permitted on stateroom verandahs. Guests are allowed to smoke on open decks 4, 9 & 10, port side only (except near Mickey's Pool). Inside, smoking is permitted within Sessions in the Beat Street entertainment district on the Disney Magic®, within The Cadillac Lounge in the Route 66 entertainment district on the Disney Wonder®, and at the bar area in Diversions on both ships. It is asked that smokers please be considerate of non-smokers.

Alcohol Consumption

Please remember that the legal drinking age aboard is 21 years of age. A valid ID is required to order and consume alcoholic beverages.

No Reserved Seats Policy

As a courtesy to all guests they kindly advise that the saving of seats is not permitted in the Walt Disney Theatre, and the saving of sun loungers is not permitted on deck 9 and 10.

Courtesy is Appreciated

Please refrain from loud conversations and gatherings in stairways and corridors after midnight.

Guest Services

From behind the Guest Services Desk to the 24 hour Guest Services phone line, we're always here to make your Disney Cruise the best it can be.

Docking at Ports

At most destinations, the ship docks right at the port. At some, the ship anchors offshore and then you "tender," meaning smaller boats take you from your Disney ship to the dock. At Castaway Cay, the ship docks right at the island, so you can get on and off at your convenience.
