Oslo
|
One of the largest, but also most expensive, capital cities in the world. With the Oslo Fjord to the south of the city, and forests and mountains to the north.
Although not as typically Norwegian as Bergen and Trondheim, Oslo still has a lot to offer visitors, with a mixture of old and new, from skyscrapers to museums.
The ship will sail up the Oslofjord to reach Oslo, although scenic, it's not as spectacular as the fjords on the Western side of Norway.
Tourists may wish to sample or purchase some traditional Norwegian souvenirs, such as trolls, Nordic sweaters, lingonberries or even reindeer steak!
