Sun Wheel

Experience one of two different rides on this 150 ft high Ferris wheel. Try out one of the inner gondolas that slide in and out as the wheel moves around. Enjoy a more sedate experience on one of the outer gondolas and take in the amazing views of the park and surrounding area.

There are stationary gondolas and gondolas that swing and slide. The gondolas are completely enclosed with steel mesh, which obscures the view slightly. This Ferris wheel is inspired by Coney Island's Wonder Wheel. As part of the parks expansion, the wheel will be renamed Mickey's Fun Wheel, with the sun icon being replaced with a Mickey Mouse face. Opened with the park on Feburary 8, 2001. Additional Information Guests must transfer from their Electric Convenience Vehicle to an available wheelchair to enter the attraction and transfer from their wheelchair to the ride vehicle by themselves or by assisted by members of their party to experience this attraction. Wheelchair Access: For swinging gondolas, enter through the standard queue. At the split, proceed to the left entrance. For non-swinging gondolas, enter through the exit. During inclement weather, this attraction may not be operating. For the inner gondolas - For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure.
