Jungle Cruise

Take a serene riverboat journey along the rivers of Africa, Asia and South America at Adventureland's "Jungle Cruise".

As you meander downstream, you'll encounter crocodiles, man-eating tigers, bathing Elephants, restless natives and a school of piranha. Encountering these creatures however will seem like a pleasure compared to sitting through your skippers continuous stream of bad puns and corny one-liners!

Further meandering will see you float by ancient ruins, campgrounds and villages. You may even meet one of the locals of said villages, Trader Sam the "head" salesman.

All animals are of course audio-animatronic, so your authentic, weather-beaten boat wont be in any danger, and you'll return safely to dockside shortly before thoughts of abandoning ship to avoid the skippers jokes begins to seem like a good idea!

This was one of Walt's favorite attractions.
On opening day the native village wasn't a village, but a jungle, complete with masks, tikis and natives that popped up from the trees and bushes. [more facts...]
