Disneyland Railroad


All aboard for a train ride around the Magic Kingdom, stopping off at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland.

The train passes through a Grand Canyon diorama, the caves in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and the facade of it's a small world on its journey around the park.

Location: Main St. Station, with stops at Frontierland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland.

Duration: 30 minutes round trip. Trains depart approximately every 10 minutes.

Ride Capacity: There are 4 trains, with each seating up to 250 guests

Best time to visit: Early morning or later in the day


Tips & Fun Facts

Make the full round trip journey, or use the train to get from one land to another.
Wait times at Frontierland & Fantasyland stations are usually shorter than at Main St. and Discoveryland stations.
Main St. Station is usually the only one open early in the morning, with the other three opening later.

The railroad was originally called "Euro Disneyland Railroad," but when the park's name changed it was renamed "Disneyland Paris Railroad." However, original signs featuring "EDRR" still remain throughout the attraction.
Serial numbers on the trains are the birth dates of Imagineers who worked on the railroad.
The trains are called:
W.F. Cody (with cars: Silverton; Durango; Wichita; Cheyenne; Denver)
C.K. Holliday (with cars: Coney Island; Atlantic City; Long Island; Niagara Falls; Chesapeake)
Washington (with cars: Mt. Vernon; Boston; Philadelphia; Yorktown; Valley Forge)
Eureka (with cars: San Francisco; Los Angeles; Monterey; San Diego; Sacramento)


Additional Information

Wheelchair visitors must be able to make the transfer to enter the train.There is a lift under the Main Street Station near the wheelchair rental point.
Folding wheelchairs and strollers can be loaded on board the trains, or left in the station if visitors want to take the full trip round the Disneyland Park.
