MUSIC AND SPORTS!
The school year will be starting off on a sporty note this year at Disney Village with
the World Cup Rugby kick-off at the Sports Bar on 7 September. The party goes on
non-stop for fans until the 20 October finals. On 15 and 16 September, water sports
will be making waves on Lake Disney for the European Jet Ski Open whose final
will be held at Disney Village. Last but not least, the lush greens of Golf Disneyland
will become golf lovers’ paradise for the 23 September Disney Village Golf Open.
Music will also be part of the back to school scene, with the Nouv’Elles party on 8
September. This concert of young artists will open the Muzik’Elles de Meaux Festival
at Billy Bob’s at Disney Village. As an official partner, Disney Village is one of the
public village actors in the Muzik’Elles Festival from 21 to 23 September and will be
holding a contest to win a Gibson guitar.
On the dance floor, the radio station Evasion will be spinning out the tunes at the
Hurricanes nightclub on 22 September for the Evasion Live Party.
EUROPEAN JET SKI OPEN
15 and 16 September
For the fifth consecutive year, Disney Village will
host the European Jet Ski Open from 15 and
16 September 2007 and will thus close the
EJSBA (European Jet Sport Boating Association)
European championship.
Disney Village welcomes this unique sports
event reserved for Jet Ski elitists on a 4-hectare
water court.
Over 100 skiers of 25 different nationalities
will participate in the EJSBA Open whose course
is known for being difficult and selective. The
different races and Free Style demos make it
an exceptional sports event featuring several big
names in the sport: Chris Mac Clugage, Franky
Zapata and Nicolas Rius.
Races will be held according to category:
- Stand-Up which includes Novice, Standard F3, Limited F2, Veterans Limited F2,
Ladies F2, Junior F3 and G.P categories.
- Run including Runabout Standard Open F3, Runabout Limited F2 and Runabout
G.P.
- Free Style with an Amateurs and Pro section.
Meanwhile, France’s best amateur jet skiers will compete in the “Ufolep National
Tour.”
A night Free Style show will keep Saturday’s water fun going strong. Sunday
evening, the awards ceremony will officially close this festive sports gathering.

RUGBY WORLD CUP

Disney Village will be sporting rugby colours. As a favourite
sports hangout, the Sports Bar will be hopping with action
during the 2007 Rugby World Cup. In an athletic and
musical ambiance worthy of major stadiums, the games will
be broadcasted live on widescreen. Don’t miss out on 7
September’s kick-off to see France confront Argentina at 9
p.m.
Haka dancers, traditional maori folk dancers made famous
by the New Zealand All Blacks and banda, basque folkloric
artists, will lend an authentic touch to the already festive
rendez-vous between the best teams in the world.
Cheerleaders will also lend their enthusiastic support to
pigskin players as they pep up the third halftimes.
DISNEY VILLAGE GOLF OPEN
23 September
Golf lovers are invited to participate in this tournament in the exceptional environment
of Golf Disneyland. Rounds will be played scramble-style in teams of two.
The competition is open to all players licensed by the Fédération Française de Golf.

FESTIVAL
Nouv’Elles: Saturday 8 September
To open the Muzik’Elles Festival, Disney Village welcomes the Nouv’Elles. These
two young "talents" discovered during a talent search, T-Ka and Forget the
Heroes, will appear live on the stage of Billy Bob's at Disney Village on 8 September
starting at 9 p.m. After this warm-up concert, fans will be able to enjoy them during a
second concert as part of the Festival.
Admission to Billy Bob’s is free.
Focus on the artists
• T-Ka
This young songwriter is also a singer with a soulful
and sensual voice. T-Ka lives in Paris but her pop
compositions have her travelling all over the world. In
2004 she won the Île-de-France final to appear in
Paris and earn her way onstage at the 2005 Solidays
concert.
• Forget the Heroes
Female singer Corinne leads this group of artists
displaying a variety of experience and personalities.
Classical, electric, gospel, funk, rock and salsa, the
result is a medley of pop songs with a touch of funk
and a hint of jazz. Since the release of their first
album in early 2006, the group continues to make
live appearances in Paris and the rest of France.
From 21 to 23 September
In association with the Muzik'Elles de Meaux Festival, Disney Village will host the
latest crop of up and coming female musicians for a series of concerts between 21
and 23 September 2007. Meet us at Disney Village, in the Muzik’Elles Festival
public village which has set up camp in the Tauziet stadium at Meaux.
