Wonders of Life

Rumours have again been brought to the surface about the possible fate of the Wonders of Life Pavillion, currently being used as one of the staging areas for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. The latest is that the pavillion is to be demolished sometime in 2008, with the area being landscaped for future use (as happened with the former 20k Leagues Lagoon).
This is still very much unconfirmed at the moment, and the fate of this particular pavillion has been rumoured for several years, a time which has seen only very limited openings to park visitors. However, with several Epcot attractions having received some form of refurbishment and regeneration of late (The Living Seas, Spaceship Earth, O Canada), perhaps the focus now turns to WoL?

This building was in fairly good shape this weekend when we visited as part of the Food and Wine Festival. Not sure that they should tear it down, but if they are planning a new venue, they may have to.

It's spacious and set up nicely for the festival. It makes a nice break from the heat!

Ive heard that its going to be used for confrences and functions in the meantime, while they decide what to do with the space.
It’s a shame to see it sitting there empty tough, cranium command was a fun attraction.
