While people around the world are being wowed by adventures with a modern-twist in The Princess and the Frog (Walt Disney Pictures, Disneyland Paris prepares to add some Cajun spice to its Princess line-up with the arrival of the scintillating Tiana.

Ever since Snow White first appeared in 1937, Disney Princesses have brought their magic to Walt Disney Pictures masterpieces, many inspired by the great European fairytales. They have captured our imaginations on screen and our hearts in person at Disney theme parks. Eleven years after Mulan, the ninth Princess of this dazzling dynasty is ready to step off the screen and enter the enchanting world of Disneyland Paris.
Scoop: Tiana, new star of Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade
After a long and perilous trip from New Orleans, crossing the Bayou with its many encounters and emotions, Princess Tiana saw her dreams come true in a way she had never imagined. Now, starting 2 April 2010, she will begin a new adventure side by side with Prince Naveen in Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade. They join Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and their Princes on the “Dreams of Romance” float, an enchanting moment when visitors’ favorite Disney classics come to life.
And that’s not all: Princess Tiana and her Prince Naveen will meet ‘n’ greet guests and pose for photographs at Town Square Gazebo, with lively music by the Dixieland Band inspired by the music from the film (1).

And here they come! Stepping off the screens of the latest Disney blockbusters, new generation Characters take center stage at Disneyland Paris in an exhilarating year unlike any other. The spotlight shines on heroes of Walt Disney Pictures’ animated films The Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch as well as Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story, Ratatouille, The Incredibles and Monsters Inc.
The newest generation of Disney’s much-loved Characters joins Mickey and friends, ready to perform in fantastic shows and parades at the Disneyland and Walt Disney Studio Parks. At long last, there really is a way to make modern dreams come true!
