WOW!!! is right - amazing what they can come up with to put on a ship
The ship would definitely be the destination and not the ports of call
More information has been added

Some of the attractions that will be available
Building an amusement boardwalk - including a Carousel, boardwalk games, two climbing walls and the first ever Zipline on a ship
Central Park feature with serene pathways and canopy trees, al fresco dining and shopping
The largest Promonade on any RCCL ship including a levitating Risiing Tide Bar transporting guests between three decks and enough shops, pubs and restaurants to entertain even the most traveled travelers
For those whose spending it a bit above the norm they will have 2000 square feet staterooms - Loft Staterooms with multi leveled suites with floor to ceiling windows.
We are going to look into what the pricing for this new ship will be in the fall when pricing is available. Anyone want to plan a Magical Kingdoms get together cruise in the summer of 2010 on this amazing new ship?

WOW!! :wow: It looks amazing! We're going to be torn between trying this or the new Disney ship. :hehe:
If we can afford it by then it sounds fab! :excited:
Where do you think it will sail to/from?

Both Genesis ships will sail from Fort Lauderdale for their first year. There's loads of info in the press releases (http://www.oasisoftheseas.com/releases.php) including ports of call. The Aquatheater sounds amazing! :D

Jo, I've never sailed with Royal Caribbean. How do they compare with others in the industry?

They are actually pretty good as long as you stay with the newer ships like the Freedom class, Voyager class or the Mariner class ships. If you like smaller size then the Mariner class is the one to go on. The Freedom class ships are the largest afloat right now until their Genesis class sets sail
You can see photos of the Serenade (Mariner Class) ship here - these are from 2005 and I know some of the public areas have been updated along with the beddings in all rooms

Here are photos of our 2006 sailing on the Explorer of the seas (Voyager class)

For some this makes a difference - All RCCL ships, except for the Freedom, Liberty and Independence, have salt water pools. All their Freedom class and newer ships have fresh water pools

How do you post a link with just the words, like you have above, instead of the whole link
:hehe:
Jo, if you go to reply, type the anchor text (http://www.smallworldvacations.com)you want, highlight it, then click on the little world icon and type the url into there
