Monorail Update.

The good news…both monorail red and monorail blue are at Disneyland!

The bad news…both have been plagued with problems during testing, meaning an official date for when they finally go operational at the park is still to be announced. The latest issue surrounds the monorails lack of AC (bit of an oversight in one of the nations sunniest states!) Although they do have ventilation in each of the cabins, it isn’t proving effective enough in keeping the temperature down. Adding an air con system has been ruled out due to the monorails hefty weigh, something which has also caused concern during the test phase.
We'll continue to keep our ear to ground regarding any announcement of their eventual inauguration. :)

They were testing them on the tracks when we were there. They are wicked cool looking. The CM at check in said then that they were having AC problems. :sigh:

I sure hope they get them running for guest use soon. :yes:
