About LinkBacksCould I ask for a little pixie dust for my daughters hamster please. We've gone to clean the cage out tonight and he doesnt look too good, I've googled and it COULD be just a little eye infection, I've give it a good bathing and am going to keep bathing it and take him to the vets if need be, but I just have that sinking feeling. He's a lovely little hammy and already had his fair share of trauma, he had a tumor removed from his tummy at Xmas, and he is such a sweetie...am getting upset now...:(...this is the reason I vow we won't have any more pets (like when Disney her first hamster died in my hands) and yet we always do.
So please could I ask for a little pixie dust for the little fella...

Thanks, I've just been sat here crying, why am I like this???? I've always been like this, when I was younger I never wanted children but my animals were my life, I was an only child and had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and shedloads of heartache. When I had my kids I thought my perspective had changed, but since my daughter has had her hammies I go through it all over again, especially as its ME that takes them to the vets, its ME thats crying to the vet to do her best!! My husband isnt an animal lover and thinks I have taken leave of my sense when I am blubbing over a hamster!!

Thanks for both your pixie dust, I am praying that he is ok overnight, but if I am honest I wouldnt bet on it.
