Banking Points Q

Can someone tell me what the timescale is for banked points? What i mean is can points banked this year be carried over to subsequent years or is it as Jo believes, that they can only be banked once, to be used anytime within the following year?

Does that make sense?

Jo is correct Jon, you can only bank points for one use year, then they must be used before the last day of the use year you banked them into or they are forfeited.

So...we banked our points last October. So long as we actually book a trip (up to 11 months in the future) before the banking date this coming October, we can still use them? i.e. we could book a trip as late as Sept 2013 using those points?

What's your use year. When did the points go onto your account?

I think it's October That's when we had to bank by.

You have to use the banked points by the end of the use year you have banked them into not just book with them. Check your membership card or your online account for your use year then we can help you work out what your options are. There are 3 years worth of points shown in your online account to help you keep track and it shows your banking and borrowing transactions. :)

OK, it appears from the chart above that you banked 43 points from your March 11 use year into March 12. Does sound right Jo?

If that's the case then these 43 points must be used for a stay that ends on or before 28th Feb 2013. If you don't think you will take a trip by then PM me and I'll run through another option with you when we get home.

You might as well book a trip for Christmas/2012 .
I'm not even a Disney Vacation Club member but knew the answers as I did a lot of research when we were going to buy in .
