I'm sitting here in the courtroom waiting for the judge to call my cases and I decide to open up and see what crowds are like at the theme parks. This small act takes me right back to my vacation and I do it often. I have always heard that after the new year, things slow down at the parks and it is a great time to visit. So it is January 4th, 3:30pm Orlando time and realize that Toy Story Mania is over 120 minutes, Soarin is 80 minutes, Rockin Roller Coaster is 90 minutes, Tower of Terror 65 minutes, Space Mountain is 75 minutes, Thounder Mountain is 85 minutes, Expedition Everest is 75 minutes. I don't know about you guys but those seem like awful long waits to me :/ what do you think?

Im glad im not the only one who checks up on these :hehe: I'm guessing theres still quite a lot of the festive crowd around. That said, we saw some big wait times in October when it wasn't peak time, hence we tended to leave the parks mid afternoon for some downtime.

I think because of new years falling on a weekend along with this coming weekend being marathon has brought larger crowds

Ah, yep the marathon weekends do get busy.

Brig, I have an App called 'lines' thats run by touringplans/unofficial guide, its updated by guests in the parks so is pretty accurate.

Wow - those are long waits. Our limit for wait time is 20 minutes so we'd never get to ride anything if we were there now!

:thanks: Was it free or did you buy it?

So far TapTalk is the only one I've purchased (EVER) so that I can be on here easier! :hehe:

Sounds like normal wait times for Christmas. This is what it is like in the summer as well. Wish we could get down there in the "off" season but can't do it. Thank goodness for the FP.

On Dec 27th the wait for Toy Story was 170 minutes!

    15-20 minutes is my max.

I'd only wait 170 minutes for Donny Osmond or Springsteen.

Because I have a max wait time of 60 minutes and my last two trips to Disney have included 12-17 family members and God forbid I not be around to lead them, moving the blob into the parks before 10:30am is impossible, I have yet to ride on Toy Story Mania :( I know it is just sad sad sad!!!!!!!!!

Ok so my obsession continues!!!!! Today seems to be a great WDW day I wish I was there!!! It's already 11:40am Florida time and:

    Space Mountain 15 minutes
    Toy Story Mania 44 minutes
All other times seem small or in the alternative manageable!!!

You are going to drive yourself crazy if you keep watching those times. At the times we can go to Disney, I think they automatically jump the wait time to 1 hr because of the mad rush of people getting there after the rope drop. I have never seen the wait time in the single digits.
