If you could have lunch at just 1 Epcot restaurant, which would you choose and what would you recommend there?

Ooh, tough question Paula since we normally don't do a sit down for lunch. For CS we love Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. I guess if I were going to try a sit down I might be interested in the new Hacienda in Mexico or possibly lunch at Le Cellier. However, if we did either we probably would not have any dinner plans that night.

My choice would be Chefs de France

Crouque monsieur which comes with a salad or a quiche would be my choices
they also have a very good 3 course lunch special that is a good deal

The Rose and Crown and probably their fish and chips. I'm not that keen on eating here for dinner but do like the venue so would hope that I'd enjoy their lunch menu.

In the past, my answer would have been the Garden Grill, it was never very crowded for lunch and had great character interaction. So sad they don't do lunch there anymore. Now it is definitely Biergarten-the food buffet is one of the best in WDW in my opinion. We've always met lovely people at our table, and the service is wonderful.

Was there once and really enjoyed it...but have had hard time getting ADR (Advance Dining Reservations) so we get the fish and chips from the little shop outside.

The sit down that I did in Epcot was at Le Cellier, but I really like the fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop window

Are the fish and chips there any good? It's important to note that we live near Grimsby which I think has the best fish and chips in the world, so it'd take a lot to impress me

They are edible, but I don't think they compare to good UK chip shops  I thought that Cookes of Dublin at Downtown was better as far as Disney chip shops go

Tokyo Dining! Any of the entrees with scallops:eat: We always get there when they open for lunch. Their opening ceremony is wonderful, where they all come out to welcome you. We always get a table by the window overlooking World Showcase Lagoon. The buffet at the Biergarten in Germany is a close second with it's wonderful choice of sausages, yum!

Spicy tuna roll and teriyaki chicken to share from the counter service place in Japan, plus Kirin beer. We love eating outside and its a great suntrap there. Always our traditional last lunch before heading to the airport and often on other days too.

We never eat huge at lunchtime so couldn't manage buffets etc

Most probably, Le Cellier and the cheese soup/Mushroom Filet combo :eat:
Sunshine Season's Ginger Mongolian Beef gets an honourable mention also.

I'd be another vote for Teppan Edo - I love, love, LOVE, the salad dressing. So much so that I have the recipie and make it here at home to carry me 'back' sometimes.
