Found a kitty at work today (on my first day back lol). It was in the receiving dock area of an empty building in the parking lot right in front of our store. I had gone outside during my lunch break and there it was a Siamese tabby mix. It was rubbing all against me and wanted to climb up my leg and be held. Poor thing was so attention starved! It would have followed me back to my store if it hadn't been afraid of the traffic. Some of the girls I work with said it'd been there a few weeks. So when I got off I went and got it and brought it home. Going to get it into the foster program so it can find its forever family. I have to take it to the vet and get it checked out but it looks pretty healthy. It's a huge pest. Every time I sit down it jumps in my lap and I've stepped on it three times already because it keeps trying to get my feet so I will stop and pet it. I can't tell if it's a boy or girl!

How sweet! Why don't you keep it? I have a feeling its going to grow on you and you're going to have a hard time giving it away.

Two reasons. One, I already had too many pets. Second, it doesn't get alone with my other cats. They argue over territory aka mommy and mommy's bed lol.

I can get that, I'm lucky Jack and Jiji get on so well, they even share a bed happily, my only concern is that they rough house now and then, I thought it was real aggression, but, there are no cuts, bite marks and scratches and 99% of the time they are best friends. I'm having to decide whether they should be separated in the cattery or be in together for company

Kitty went to the vet today. It's going to get its baby making parts chopped off and shots and tests and such and they'll let me know if it's a boy or girl.

Kitty is a BOY! And he must've gotten some pixie dust because he was already neutered so no surgery! I decided to call him Siam because he needed a name for his paperwork when I dropped him off and that could be for boy or girl.

Keep him , they will learn to get along . After Binks died and I got Mushi , I never thought Toby would take to him . But now they romp all over and are best friends .

Since he is already neutered that is probably why you had trouble telling what sex he is. Although he should still have had a VITAL part. They don't cut that off.

The same with Jack and Jiji. Jack did not take too well to having to share his mommy, but, they became friends quicker than I thought they would. I have a little problem as I have an old dog kennel in the back yard I got for the boys in case I'm not there if they're outdoors and it starts raining (spoilt much?)but over this weekend there's been a squatter overnight, a bedraggled long haired tortoiseshell I have seen wandering around the avenue before, it has owners although I don't know who, but, it's spent every night in the kennel during the atrocious weather we've had, I can't believe anyone would let their pet out in such bad weather. Anyway, I came home tonight at 8.15 and it was in there looking at me. DD has been feeding it leftover cat food apparently, but, we know we can't let it move in as we'd be accused of catnapping, but it is in desperate need of a good brushing and it's such a sweet natured thing, I'm too soft when it comes to cats.

He got adopted over the weekend to an older couple but they returned him on Monday because he bit the lady. He only got her hand after she stopped petting him.

Cali is like that, she will bite or try to pull our arm back towards her when we stop petting her, she was feral and is still a bit rough around the edges, she just didn't learn how to be around humans.

So cute, hopefully a nice family that understands will adopt him.
