We're thinking of letting Ben get some pins in August. He wanted to get one for every ride....is that possible?

Yes, but it can get awfully expensive.

Logan loves them. He often just looks at them, sorts them, talks about them.

One of his favourites is the Splash Mountain one.

Yes, I bet! Maybe we'll let him choose some favourites.

    Does Logan trade them Bec?

I have a lanyard and some pins (mostly Villains) that I enjoy and bring to the parks...but I don't get into the trading either. When my kids were smaller I let them pick a souvenir a day and my DD picked a pin one day...I thought it was so she could trade it and was leery (she was only 7) but she was a typical little girl. After I bought her the pin she saw a lanyard that her pin would look so good on and then the mickey shaped backers that hold so much better.....so her one souvenir turned into a lot of pin related items. I think the shopping thing is a gene I really do.

I have some pirate pins for him Bec. You should buy him the pins online at DS UK. They just had Tarzan with Jane LE 150.
When you go to WDW again. Please let me know which resort or timeshare address and I will send them.
Nice collection Logan and no scrappers. Well Done!

He collects anything he likes P. Although he does have a separate lanyard just for pirates and 'baddies'

    Thanks Deb!

Our DD has alot of villians, mcduck, and goofy pins. We have almost 5 books filled. We have the 5 e-ticket pins that are really nice. Kind of quit buying them lately because it does get expensive. Hope he has fun , thats what it is all about.

I love the choice of lanyards! Are they all Disney?

Vik if Ben want to collect a pin for each ride, I think you should let him. It will take him years to complete, and will look great when completed.

I myself have a pin from each year I have visited, and I will now try and collect pins from each Resort I stay at as well. I have alos recently taken an interest in pins based on the histroy of Disney, so I think I might start collecting them.

Thanks steamboat. The pirate skull and mickey red white and blue are Disney. The Spider-Man is universal studios.

I still love pins, but, since the issues with scrappers I'm very cautious of whom i trade with, I won't go for anything that's part of a set as I noticed that there were lots of the same ones and presumed they were scrappers. I also think CM's should be wary of people producing them from carrier bags full of pins, a real trader who genuinely loves their pins wouldn't carry pins around like that for fear of damage. I always go for the $1 mystery pins that you get when you spend a certain amount and trade any doubles for unusual looking ones. My DLRP doubles went down well, especially the Tangled ones, but, I traded carefully.
