Does anyone else have the Disney Parks Mobile Magic on their phone? I saw it on FB the other day - that it was released for iPhones. Went to my Android marketplace and there it was :D.

It's a pretty cool little app. I like that now I can carry around park maps in my back pocket, and look at the temperature, etc. There's also a wait-time portion, that I believe activates once you are in the parks. There is an option to put in vacation dates to customize you stay there more.

This is probably old news, we've been so incredibly busy that I haven't had time to stay "up" on current apps on my phone. This one's a keeper though.

I thought that might've been the deal. When I saw the announcement on FB it was specifically for the iPhone.

    It's a really cool app.

I think that is the one I downloaded to my droid the other day. Haven't had a chance to check it out yet though.

See how behind the times I am . It's been hyped in a country that can't even get it, yet I just discovered it.

I've only tried through the MK page, but it seems the videos aren't viable through the phone. Even though they're YouTube vids. Strange.

Well I did try it today and I was not to impressed. The map is ok but I wish it used GPS to show where you were on it. Also the wait times didn't work in the morning but they did work in the afternoon. But they did not give you a wait time it was "very busy", "moderate" type thing. It also didn't list fasspass return times, it just showed if they were avaible. I like mouse wait better, but it is based on people's updates which could be wrong. I would like the Disney park app better if it showed the wait time as shown at the rides. The map might be nice, if I ddn't know DL so well. But after visiting the park since before I can remember I don't need a map. I can see the maps coming in handy at WDW, again if it could show you on the map that would be cool.

Very interesting . I wondered how it would actually work when inside of a park (instead of when I'm sitting in my livingroom using it ). I'm going to guess that the wait level is based on calculations, rather than real-time waits, because they fluctuate so often?

My wife had an App on her phone from Sprint back in 2010 when we were there and the wait times were updated by people in the park. We updated the wait times if the time was off by more than 10 minutes of what the App was telling us.

I just typed in Disney Mobile Magic and it came up first. I can still see it free in the store. It's under the travel section if search can't find it.
