:aww: Thats a shame. He and his brother had a long association with Disney. Will be missed, even if he did write 'THAT' song.

Which one Jon? It's A Small World? :D

The fact that song sticks to your brain like glue reaffirms their talent and musical genius.

Musical genius or moment of madness, its open to debate.

Can't really argue that he was a hugely influential figure in a lot of memorable Disney songs and scores down the years.

I have Spotify on my PC at work and spent the entire day listening to the Sherman Brothers Songbook... They practically wrote all the classic Disney songs. Click the link below to start listening.

I just recieved the Sherman Brothers Song Book on CD from Amazon. It's incredible...2 CD's with 59 tracks. There are even tracks from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang included as well as some Disney Tracks that I had never heard (Fred McMurray doing the Flubber song)
It was well worth the price; I thought 32 tracks was the combined total on both CD's...thats just on Disc One.

    It's incredible, isn't it?!

I love every song, so many, and those are just the best one, its not only their songbook but the songbook of Disney.

I wans't sure if it was a "Disney" songbook because of the inclusion of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang...but I agree it is really incredible. I have it ready to go into the van for the morning pickups...hoping the kids are gonna like some new music :)
