Disney Parks announced earlier that the first stage of the Fantasyland Expansion, Part of the Storybook Circus area will open to guests late next month, believed to include one hub of the re-imagineered Dumbo attraction. This will be followed by the 'Great Goofini' rollercoaster and Fantasyland Railway station. Further areas such as the remainder of Dumbo will be phased in later in the year.

Snow Whites Scary Adventures will close permanently on May 31st to begin it's transformation into the 'Princess Fairytale Hall', a new meet and greet location.

I'm glad to hear that some of the new Fantasyland is opening. I had thought they were redesiging Snow Whites Scary Adventure and devleoping a 7 Dwarves Mine Train attraction :(

I'm looking forward to the 'Great Goofini' attraction but won't miss Snow White although we do end up riding it every year.

They are building a completely new one that will be more like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad than the ride that exists now, so the old one has to close.

 I should know that...there isnt really any space between SWSA and WPHP. Somehow I just figured that they would "dig" down and make a mine train (and hit the groundwater at 6 inches under the street LOL)

I'm like the lady in the commercial that is waiting for the store (Mervyn's) to open when there is a sale saying: "open, open, open, open, open, open, open, open"

Storybook Circus opened partially Monday morning, so I managed a quick look and got some photos before I went to the airport. Dumbo was open and the Great Goofini ride is Barnstormer redone, the station was also open. I'll upload photos this weekend.

Here are a couple of photos from Storybook Circus, taken on my last day there, I was a bit rushed as I had to get back to pick up my bus. The clock is from the Railroad station, I can't believe I didn't take a better one of that.

    I agree!

I might even brave the queue. I've only been on Dumbo once - at 1.30am during Extra Magic Hour.
