First part of the day sounds great! Dont think ive ever heard ben say he didnt like a ride before, although it sounds as if it was more the scenery than the actual ride!

Ok, I've finally got around to writing some more
Saturday 27th August continued:
Whilst I was feeding Ava the rain came and went (became a bit of a habit for us whilst we were there. I have a feeling Ava had a sixth sense for when it was about to rain, so though, well hey, I may as well get fed then
We went over to the safari next and I managed to get a few good shots.
We did have a bit of an encounter with a rhino though. He was not at all in the mood to be moving, and our tour guide Jason told us that there is no way he was going to argue with a rhino, so we’d just have to hang back for a while. Suited us fine, he was a wonderful creature!
Eventually a ranger type person came in a jeep and moved the family on.
Jason was by far one of the best safari guides I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it was because he had to go ‘off script’ a bit due to the rhinos, but he was really great. In fact, I told him so when we got off the jeep, and he seemed genuinely pleased to get such good feedback.
After collecting the buggy we went on the gorilla trail and were lucky enough to see a baby, cuuuuute!
A few more piccies were taken
We continued on to the tiger trail, where were saw a couple of tigers getting a little, erm, angry, with eachother.
Didn’t matter though, they made up in the end.
Ava decided she wanted to be star of the show though!
So the camera stayed out….
Time for some fun in the fountains
Cuddles with daddy.

Can never resist a few pics of this!
A bit of a play on the drums.
After feeding Ava again, it was off to Saana fo tea. This is one of our favourite restaurants and an absolute must do since we first discovered it. We once again asked for a window table, as it is so worth it, and the wait is never that long.
We’re quite fond of the breads and popadums here, so we added those to our meal.
Not quite sure why Ava found this green bean so appealing.
All the food was yummy, as always!
Anthony did say his curry sauce taste a bit odd, not sure why though.
Strangely, we had the exact same server here as we did last time, and once again, she was wonderful!
After we paid the bill we noticed we had no dining credits left. Very strange as we knew we had enough left for the following day. We went over to the concierge where a very nice young man managed to work out that the Wave had deducted double the amount of credits when we went to visit – no idea why, but they were put right back onto our allocation. Note to self – always check the remaining credits when on the dining plan
Upon returning to our resort I picked up a calendar from the gift shop and went back to the room to begin the laborious packing.
Next time, a pretty awful day!
