I had a cake ordered for my DH's birthday on our last trip. It was done by the Boardwalk Bakery and delivered to the Flying Fish. It was a marble cake with strawberries and bananas in the middle with chocolate ganache on the outside. It was by far the best cake any of us have ever had!

Anyone have a list of updated places where I can order a birthday cake for?

It's DF's Birthday a few days after we return, so I thought I might suprise her with a cake, but I would need to plan ADR's to make sure I have a suitable restaurant booked towards the end of the stay.

What kind of cake are you thinking? The best bakery IMO is the GF. Cali Grill have done us a few fab ones too but it may not be open in time.

Thanks for the quick replies. I was thinking of getting the Cinderella's slipper or the castle cake, and we would be in either Citricos or Narcoossee's for dinner. The other cakes would be too big for just the two of us!

Chocolate figures are also available at the GF, I ordered this for Paula when we had dinner at Citrico's.

When you are ready to order or if you want to discuss any options available at the GF, call private dining and ask to speak to Pat Anderson. She is responsible for all the special cake/dessert orders.
