DH told me to book to go to WDW - but kids are a problem

Nearly fainted this morning, DH told me to book a holiday for Disney, staying at the Beach Club
There are 2 MAJOR problems - the kids
DD 18 is finishing her A levels and planning to do a midwifery course at uni - still waiting to get a place - shes got a back up plan to go to college and do a prenursing course.

DS 16 is doing his GCSEs and is planning to go to college to do 3-4 A levels.

Its not fair:( I dont know what to do - cannot leave them at home - they have told me that

Go during the Summer? They will probably be off for longer than normal due to exams traditionally ending earlier than regular school terms.

I agree with both of the above! All the A level and GCSE exams will have finished by the end of June at the latest..........go in July/August! It's when we go and it's great!

      Another who agrees!!

We've been a few times at the start of August and it's honestly not as busy as you'd think! End of August is even better if you can manage that!

As one who has been over the 4th of July holidays, I say go over summer too! Yes the crowds are larger but that = longer hours! It is QUITE doable!!!

We go in August...it works best for us (no arguing with schools) and yes its hot...it was in the 90's here in MA too and I don't have a pool, A/C or a water park. Do in Aug...crowds are a lil less in Aug and the parks are open late

and August usually = free dining . If the latter part of August is doable, its an excellent time . Hot, but not overly crowded .
