      Unhappy GARMIN Sat Nav Help

I apologise in advance if this is a daft question and indeed in the wrong place.

Ive purchased the North America maps on Garmin.com, Ive downloaded them but I can see them on my sat nav - what am I doing wrong?

When I check on my computer I can see they are there!! CONFUSED!!!

      Can anyone help?

Yep. It's easy. If you want to look at the maps here, insert the card and make sure you have it switched to the GPS simulation mode, the mode that doesn't need the satellites, then you'll be able to see the maps.
Also, be aware that when you get to America, it'll take the sat nav about 30 minutes to recognise you're in another country. It took ages with ours and we thought something was wrong with it, but poor sat nav lady just got a bit confused and didn't realise she'd just flown across the pond

Hi Bec, have you sorted this? On ours we put the card in then when it accquires the satellites for where we are in England zoom right out on the map use you finger to drag the map across the US and down to Florida then when at that location tap to stay there and zoom in you should be able to see the florida locations and routes then. Let me know if you sort it as I have more instructions if needed.
