The signature dining experience for Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, the 220-seat Crystal Lotus will present a superb menu of China's finest cuisine in a setting of luxurious elegance.
Feng shui -- creating harmony by balancing the five elements: earth, fire, water, metal and wood -- is ingeniously incorporated in the Crystal Lotus restaurant, with water and fire represented by brand new innovations developed by Disney Imagineers, including a virtual koi pond -- complete with computer-animated fish that scatter when guests walk on the see-through floor -- and hot fire special effects behind the bar. Designed by Adam Tihany of the Mandarin Bar (London) and Le Cirque restaurant (New York City) fame.
Breakfast includes both Western and Asian, and at lunchtime, dim sum is served. Dinner is when the chef shines, with live fish tanks for the catch of the day and specialties like deep-fried crab shell stuffed with pumpkin and onion. |
