Welcome aboard Jungle River Cruise, where a genial captain is your guide to fascinating sights, stunning surprises -- and plenty of jungle humor, Disney style.
Exotic waterways of Asia, India, the South Seas and Africa surrender their secrets to the wonderment of guests aboard timeworn riverboats of the Jungle River Cruise Co.
It's a passing scene of trumpeting elephants, watchful hippos, salivating crocodiles and marauding apes. A jungle brought remarkably to life through the magic of Disney Audio-Animatronics, a technique creating lifelike humans and animals and whatever else comes from the fertile minds of Disney Imagineers.
Along the way, launches pass waterfalls, mysterious Cambodian ruins with menacing cobras and spiders, angry tribal warriors, exotic vines and flowers and crowded animal watering holes. A gigantic surprise finale with fire, flood and underwater explosions makes this among the most unique of all Disney's Jungle River Cruise adventures.
Riverboats with their weathered canvas awnings are inspired by the famous steam-powered launch in the movie classic "African Queen."
Guests will feel like they've been transported into a movie, too. Along the Rivers of Adventure, there's excitement at every turn for each "explorer."
Skippers conduct live commentary in Cantonese, Putonghua or English. Guests simply board whatever boat matches their preferred language. Even the wisecracking humor the skipper spiels -- a tradition with this Disney attraction -- is tailored to each language and scripted to cultural sensibilities.
Latest computer technology coordinates all the special effects, sound and movement of jungle critters so that on each river trek guests get the full and dramatic safari experience.

 The Jungle River Cruise is unique to Hong Kong Disneyland, though it does include elements, scenes and jokes from the Jungle Cruise attractions at Disneyland, Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disneyland. The shape and route of the Rivers of Adventure, upon which the Jungle River Cruise boats journey, actually comes from the Rivers of America, a circular waterway in Frontierland at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort and Westernland in Tokyo Disneyland.

 Guests may remain in their wheelchair/ECV to experience the attraction. Limited wheelchair capacity per trip.
Guests wishing to remain in their wheelchair will be directed
by a host or hostess to a specified holding area to wait for
an accessible boat. Guests with the ability will be asked to
transfer to a standard boat. Due to the bobbing nature of
the boat at dockside, a member of the party may need to
help a Guest step down into the boat to embark and step up
to disembark.
