Pros: fab five characters-great breakfast Cons: too early to take a bus
Tuskerhouse is the best character breakfast at WDW in competition with Ohana's. I make a point to start our day at Animal Kingdom by enjoying a Breakfast with the fab five-Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. We take a cab from our resort and they let us into the park usually before it opens, and its cool to walk to the restaurant with out anybody around- great opportunity for a couple pictures in an empty park ! then after a wonderful breakfast buffet, we hit the safari which is real close by. after the meal, Mickey leads a conga line with all the kids and anyone else who wants to join in- I have attached a clip of this fun parade.

Pros: the food Cons: horrible management, and rude CMs
I went to Tusker House just when the character lunch was in its debut week, but this was far worse than i thought to be.
It was already a bad experience when i inadvertently took the ramp only to be rudely told to take the stairs by this heavy set CM who was controlling traffic, but if that wasn't bad enough, while waiting in line, she kept the line moving by telling the guests in a scolding manner to "get as close to your neighbor as you can". Finally, when i reach the end of the line, the photographer immediately insists on having me remove my sunglasses, i felt almost insulted by this and it almost felt like i wasn't being photographed with Donald, but instead it felt like being photographed for a jail mugshot.
The food was the only thing that i enjoyed, especially the samosas and the pork loin which was cured in kenyan coffee. As for the rest of the characters, the interaction was way too rushed. When i exited, i asked a coordinator from Ohio to speak with a manager, and she tells me that she was very busy. It wasn't until i politely demanded that i spoke to the manager that she coldly called her, and the manager (from Navasota, TX whose name escapes me) came in, and instead of giving me a sincere apology, gave me a "sorry your experience wasn't so good" which too cliche for me.
To conclude, this buffet is not worth the money, and i would recommend going to Rainforest Cafe for the next time i visit AK.
