VOYAGE OF THE LITTLE MERMAID

Making a splash in MGM's animation courtyard are Ariel, Sebastian and friends in this dazzling musical stage show based on the Disney animated classic, "The Little Mermaid".
The ocean floor comes to life as a mixture of live action and puppetry, interspersed with animation and special effects help re-create the undersea adventure.

All of your favourite Little Mermaid moments are colourfully re-created, from the opening rendition of 'Under The Sea' (orchestrated of course by Sebastian), Ariels meetings with Eric and the evil Ursula and the love story that unfolds when Ariels wish to be 'part of our world' becomes a reality. The transformation from mermaid to human is accompanied by a powerful musical composition that foreshadows Ursula's wicked plan. The show reaches a climactic finale as Sebastian, Flounder, Triton the King of the Sea, and Max the Dog join Ariel and Eric in the exciting final segment, guaranteed to leave the audience with a smile.

Tips & Fun Facts

Due to the show having an elevated stage, its recommended that you sit toward the middle or in the back few rows to get the best vantage point, especially if you have young children in tow.

Just before Sebastian comes onstage, the lasers converge. These then form a distinctive three circle shape towards the centre of the stage.

This attraction premiered on January 7, 1992.

When Disney opened 'Voyage of the Little Mermaid' back in early 1992, they only planned on it being around for about 18 months or so. Over a decade later and its still as poular as ever. Its continued popularity is one of the reasons Disney is thinking of taking an expanded version of the show onto broadway.
