Beef Brewat Rolls Recipe from Restaurant Marrakesh
1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 oz chopped coriander
1 oz chopped parsley
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 pinch ginger
1 pinch saffron
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, whipped
1 oz peanut oil
Bastilla leaves (from Middle Eastern grocery stores)
Mix the beef, onion, coriander and parsley, then brown in a pan.
Add the cinnamon, ginger, saffron, salt, eggs and peanut oil. Cook fully then allow to cool.
Wrap 1 ounce of meat mixture in a bastilla leaf.
Deep fry rolls.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
