Demi Glaze for Steak Recipes from Hollywood & Vine

 
Ingredients

1 qt Burgundy wine
10 oz demi glaze base
1 1/2 oz shallots, chopped
1 1/2 oz fresh garlic, chopped
1/8 oz black pepper
10 oz water
1 oz sugar

Method

---

Add wine, shallots, garlic and pepper to sauce pan.

Reduce by 1/2.

Add Demi glaze base to wine reduction.

Simmer 1 hour.

Add water if it is too thick.
