Mashed Potatoes Recipe from Whispering Canyon Cafe, Wilderness Lodge |

Ingredients
3 1/4 lbs Yukon Gold whole potatoes
1/3 lb Butter
1 cup milk
1/3 oz salt and pepper, to taste
8 cups water
Method
In a large pot, bring the water to boil.
Add the potatoes and cook until cooked through, about 40 minutes.
After the potatoes are cooked, remove and strain.
Place the potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
Add butter, milk, salt, & pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
Adjust milk and seasoning to taste if necessary.
