The
vintage car near the front entrance of Disney's
Beach Club Resort is a mint-condition 1927 Chevy Depot Wagon,
or "Woody Huckster," complete with wooden steering wheel, one manually
operated windshield wiper and a wood cabinet seating area with bench
seats.
Take
a garden tour of the serene and colorful grounds of Disney's Yacht
and Beach Club Resorts. Tours are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday
at 8:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon. Check with the Front Desk for more information.

Beach Club Resort opened on November 19, 1990.
Stormalong
Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts made a big splash
by receiving the 2004 Disney Magazine Reader's Choice Award
for Favorite Walt Disney World® Resort Pool!
The
Legend of Stormalong Bay: A sailor named Stormalong ran his ship aground
after being caught in a fierce storm, creating what is now Stormalong
Bay. Today, the remains of the great vessel contain a water slide encompassed
by the ship's mast which extends 150 feet into the air.
Stormalong Bay, Disney's Beach Club Resort swimming area, holds 750,000 gallons of water, making it the largest sand-bottom pool in the world.
