Caribbean Beach Resort Facts and Fun
|
|
The
Old Port Royale pool is themed after a Spanish fortress. If the name
or location seems familiar, that's because Port Royale is the setting
for both the movie and the Magic Kingdom® Park attraction "Pirates
of the Caribbean."
The
five distinct "villages" at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
were inspired by and named after the Caribbean islands of Trinidad,
Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica.
Disney's
Caribbean Beach Resort opened on October 1, 1988.
