The
Electrical Water Pageant, a floating, lighted procession of "sea creatures," takes
place each night on Bay Lake at 9:15 p.m. (weather permitting).
Ready
to enjoy the grand life? Charter the Grand 1, Disney's Grand Floridian's 48-foot
Sea Ray Yacht, for a pampered cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Rental
fees are $350 per hour, which includes charter fee, Boat Captain and
deck hand. Food packages and service butler are optional.
The
restaurant 1900 Park Fare is the home to Big Bertha, an organ built
nearly a century ago in Paris by Gavoli & Co. and used from 1909
to 1955 in an amusement park in Grand Rapids, MI. The instruments include
pipes, drums, bells, cymbals, castanets and a xylophone played by a
piano-roll score.

Parasol Parade on select mornings at 8:00 a.m.
The
two large chandeliers in the lobby are 16 feet tall and 14 feet wide
at the base. Each weighs approximately one ton and has 44 candelabras.
The
gallery located near the entrance to Victoria & Albert's features
11 original maps of Florida dated from 1775 up to the period of railroad
tycoon Henry M. Flagler's railway lines.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort opened
on July 1, 1988.
In the lobby, look
for the large birdcage, then look down to the baseboard and you'll see
a mousehole!
Mizner's Lounge
is named for Addison Mizner, an architect who specialized in "Gatsbyesque" mansions
in Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
