The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort Facts and Fun

Fire Rock Geyser — a re-creation of the famous geyser "Old Faithful" located between the swimming pool and Bay Lake — shoots a water plume up to 120 feet high at regular intervals.

The Iron Spike Room, a perfect place for games or quiet time at The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, is home to two cars from the famed Carolwood Pacific, Walt Disney's hobby railroad.

All the copper used for decorative purposes at the Resort would equal more than $3 million in pennies.

The two 55-foot hand-carved totem poles, the "Raven" and the "Eagle" — located in the lobby of Wilderness Lodge — depict various myths and legends of Native Americans. A 10-foot "totem" of Disney Characters Humphrey Bear, Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse stands adjacent to Wilderness Lodge Mercantile. Put them together and you'd have a structure as tall as the "Earffel Tower" at the Disney's Hollywood Studios.
